If you are looking at the possibility of counselling and therapy you may know exactly what you are looking for, or you may be unsure but feel that something could be different. Either is OK, and an initial call for us both to understand more about what prompted you to look for support and what you want to change is a good place to start. In the initial session we can discuss possible ways forward.
Every person is different and what we will discuss, and for how long, will depend on you. A couple of sessions to help you work through a particular issue or dilemma may be all that is needed. In a culture where speaking openly about your fears and concerns is not encouraged, an understanding ear can sometimes be helpful. Alternatively, there may be complex and underlying issues that require a longer-term therapeutic relationship. This is something we can develop together.
My experience from a variety of roles (including in senior management), and living in a wide breadth of cultures, gives me a unique perspective that can be particularly helpful for those working in the humanitarian sector or overseas, those struggling with the stressors of management as well as those with a strong cultural identity.
Contact me to book an appointment for a free introductory discussion to find out more about who I am, what I do and how we might work together. For personal clients my fee is £50 for a 60 minute session.
